Other points you should consider:
- Do you have a mortgage on the property? If you do you will require permission from the Lender, as your Agent we will ask for a copy of this.
- Is your property on a Lease? You will need to make sure you have permission to sub-let your property and that the necessary license is obtained, with any relevant sub-letting conditions made available.
- As the legal owner of the property you will ensure you have the relevant buildings insurance and contents insurance for your belongings (Tenants are responsible for insuring their own belongings).
- Inventory reports are an essential part of the renting process. It is strongly recommended that an inventory is undertaken at the start of each new tenancy in order to determine if the Tenant has caused damage or removed any goods which may need to be accounted for at the end of the tenancy agreement. The Inventory report is produced by a third party contractor.
